STOW-ON-THE-WOLD COTSWOLD FESTIVAL – SATURDAY 15 JULY 2017
Stow-on-the-Wold is keeping traditional Cotswolds skills alive at their Festival on 15th July 2017 from 11am – 11pm.
Stow-on-the-Wold is going back to its roots and sheep will be taking centre stage. Set in The Square, look out for everything connected with the wool trade which brought Stow its wealth and reputation. The traditional sheep ‘Cotswold Lions’ will be on display alongside the several stages of processing wool before spinning and final make-up.
Dry-stone wallers, birds of prey from the Cotswolds Falconry Centre and the North Cotswold Beekeepers association will keep things buzzing along.
Various entertainers will be performing during the day until a culmination in live music as the sun sets.
WILDERNESS FESTIVAL – THURSDAY 3 AUGUST – SUNDAY 6 AUGUST 2017
Now in its seventh year, The Wilderness Festival held in Cornbury Park near Charlbury is an arts festival with a difference. Alongside the headlining musical acts there is a place to swim, run or learn to paint. Head down to the woods, try yoga or really get back to your primeval self and learn to butcher a deer. All things are possible at The Wilderness Festival.
BROADWAY FOOD FESTVAL – SUNDAY 10 SEPTEMBER 2017
Taking place on the village green is The Broadway Food Festival from 10am – 4 pm. Local artisan producers will be there and show casing these goodies there will be cooking demos by local chefs and best of all delicious food to go. Taste the best the Cotswolds has to offer.
